Opera 8

Opera has released version 8 of its browser. It comes with an interesting innovation in security UI - it displays the “O” or “Organisation” field of the certificate in the URL bar (screenshot), ostensibly to help the user in making security decisions about a site.
I’ve just downloaded it, and have found some interesting points in it:
Easy Switch: Opera can import your existing bookmarks, contacts, and e-mails.
Ads Choise: You can select Google text ads or graphic ads on free version.
Integrated search: Search your favorite sites, for example Google, eBay, or Amazon without having to go to their Web pages.
Powerful RSS feed: Opeera 8 supports atom newsfeed as well. You may add as many as websites you like have the RSS without visiting the page.
Customization: Using the ‘appearance’ dialog you can make Opera look almost any way you want.
Password manager: Opera’s password manager, the Wand, remembers your usernames and passwords so you will not have to. Though I personally prefer not to keep my password on the PC!
There are more options like natively support Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) and the brand new Voice operation I have not tested yet, but makes Opera more considerable as one’s default browser.
