 Electronic design automation (EDA) software provider Zuken Inc., Yokohama, Japan, has upgraded its VISULA PCB Design environment, enabling users to directly integrate with the company’s recently developed CR-5000 Lightning high-speed routing and simulation technology design product.
CR-5000 Lightning provides in-depth analysis and what-if capabilities throughout the design process, enabling engineers to explore design scenarios, trading off signal integrity parameters such as crosstalk, timing or EMI requirements, against mechanical and thermal constraints.
Along with re-writing and re-designing the infrastructure of the high-speed design product, Zuken says it has pioneered major advancements in routing technology with the introduction of such items as trunking, H-tree routing, and interactive lengthening.
