First time, Takara Co., Ltd (President and CEO, Keita Satoh) announced the current development of a device which helps users to attain the dreams of their dreams on January 2004.

Called Yumemi Koubou (Japanese for “Dream Viewing Workshop” ), this product is designed to help people shape their dreams in sleep, combining multi-sensory stimulus and sophisticated sleep-dream research to create an environment conducive to having a specific dream desired by the user.

Braking Without Hydraulics  

With its EWB (Electronic Wedge Brake), Siemens is aiming for a revolution in braking system technology for passenger cars. Compared to today’s hydraulic brakes, the EWB is more efficient, responds faster, requires far less energy, reduces a vehicle’s weight and saves space. At the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt (the show runs until September 26), automotive supplier Siemens VDO announced its entry into this multi-billion-euro market. Before the end of this year, the company wants to make the EWB available in a test vehicle.

Russian Airline Upgrades  

Aeroflot has launched a pilot version of its new online booking service, reported its plans to introduce electronic paperless ticketing, and reported the success of the travel agency technology switch. The airline also revealed plans for the launch of self-service airport express check-in kiosks, as well as touch-screen self-booking units in Aeroflot offices that travelers can use to plan flights and make their own bookings.
