Intermec Technologies Corp. today announced the Intermec 761 mobile computer has been approved for operation on the Cingular Wireless network, the largest wireless digital voice and data network in the United States. The rugged Intermec 761 supports voice and data transmission via GSM/GPRS technology. With this certification, Cingular customers now can use an Intermec 761 handheld computer to make voice calls, send data and manage documents.
