Biggest Soap Bubble  

Twenty-year-old John Erck set the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest free floating soap bubble. The massive bubble measured 105.4 cubic feet. If filled with water, it would have held 788 gallons and weighed 3.2 tons. 13,627 baseballs would fit inside. The feat was accomplished with a product he helped develop called beeboo Big Bubble Mix.

Fiber Optic Network Sets World Record  

As Internet traffic grows exponentially, so high-speed data transmission becomes crucial. Fraunhofer researchers (Germany) are now using new technology that supports speeds of 2.56 terabits per second over fiber-optic cables - the equivalent of 60 DVDs.
