Freedom of the Seas  

Freedom of the Seas, the world’s largest and most innovative cruise ship, left England today to make her transatlantic voyage to New York where she will make her American debut on May 10. Having already caused quite a stir in Europe, the ship is set to make her mark on the United States, where she will introduce a shipboard surf park, cantilevered whirlpools suspended 112 feet above the ocean, a full-size boxing ring, and a fourteen-person family suite.

Beyond the Break  

The N’s newest original half-hour series Beyond the Break (formerly Makaha Surf) was shot entirely on location in Oahu, Hawaii. The twenty-episode series premieres on air with an hour-long special on Friday June 2 at 8:30 pm ET on The N. The first two weeks of the series will premiere Fridays at 8:30 pm until June 16 when it moves to its regular time of 8.

Digi-Key adds Jennic line  

Electronics components distributor Digi-Key Corp., Thief River Falls MN, and IEEE 802.15.4 and ZigBee chip provider Jennic Ltd., Sheffield, England, have signed a distribution agreement.

Digi-Key will stock and deliver Jennic’s complete line of SoC products, ranging from the flagship JN5121 single chip wireless microcontroller to the JN5121-MO family of modules, including one with up to 100mW of transmit power. Development tools and evaluation kits for the platform will also be available.

Motorcycle Airbags
