 TENTE CASTERS, INC., Hebron, Kentucky, has produced a new line of casters for children: “TENTE SMILES.” Especially designed to bring color and fun to a child’s world, the caster was named for the viewer’s first reaction. Furniture designers and manufacturers smile too when they think of all the new design possibilities.
SMILES provide fun mobility for children’s furniture, chest of drawers, swivel chairs, children’s beds, cribs, cradles, toy containers, high chairs, walkers, computer tables, flowerpots, toy wagons and wherever you can use a “SMILE.”
 SMILES give designers great flexibility because colors and parts of the caster are interchangeable. The multi-colored casters are assembled from your choice of colored components: housing, wheel bodies, treads, brakes and faces. As the designer you can also select from standard and favorite colors. Matching doorknobs for chest of drawers, drawers on computer tables and cabinets are available to complete the ensemble.
The wheel diameter of the caster is two inches. They are available with and without brakes and are available with various fitting options.
In addition to children’s furniture, the SMILES series is available for mobile store displays, exhibit displays and wherever your imagination can travel. The TENTE design team won the prestigious international Red-Dot Design award for product design. This unique design was selected from design submissions from over 40 countries.
